Hi! Thailine, I wanted to let you know that in March 18, 99. I was in Bangkok
International Airport, when I get out from the airport, I asked a taxis man to take me to
Washington hotel, the taxis man said it will cost about 150 bath to the hotel, After I got
into his car and we just ran about couple miles from the airport, then he started to ask
me about money, if I don't give him 50 dollars he won't send me to the hotel. He started
to screen at me and try like wanted to kill me if I still refused, Then I said that I
don't have any cash with me, suddenly the gas was gon and he taked me to the gas station,
it was about 1:30 AM their was a little boy can to put gas in his car, after that he asked
me to pay for the gas price than I refused because I already pay him 150 bath at the
airport, than he so angry and I get out from his car, take my things out and I get into
the gastation to ask them called the cop, and then he ran away I did'nt know the licence
plate number well, I don't know that did the cop get that person or not. It so scare in
bangkok, because more gangs, it unsafe to get to any taxis, more bad people. Thanks

I have a number of questions about Thailand's legal system, business law and
regulations for applying textile or knitting quota. Is there any way that I can obtain the
information and the government that responsible for there problems. Also, I want to know
how to registrate a company or corporation in Thailand, what kinds of legal prosecure I
have to deal with. To obtain information in English. where is the right place to go to ? I
don't know how to speak in Thai. could any governent poblications serve with English

bekomme ich? Infos über Reiseveranstalter. Schließlich bin ich auf Ihre Site gestoßen
und ich dachte: 'Probieren geht über studieren' und habe mit dieser Mail angefangen.

Hi. I hope you can help me, or at least point me in the direction of someone who can. I
am trying to find a friend that I met and stayed with in Chiang Mai in 1978. He was at Wat
Musan then, but since has moved I think to Wat Sri Geart. I don't know this temple, and
letters I have sent there have not been answered (171 Wat Sri Geart, Chiang Mai). His name
is Phra Songdet Keokiew (Dhammatharo). Is there a register kept somewhere of names, and
would there be an email address I could try? I know this is a long shot, but any

Amazing Thailand! i visited Thailand for the FIRST time (meaning i am planning to go
back again!) last April 1998. i stayed in a little village called Thanuthet (which i can't
find on any map now that i'm back in the USA) with family friends who grew up there. i had
the most magical time of my life -- even though i only knew how to say "hot,"
"tastes good," "shower," "bathroom," "thank you,"
"fun," and "beautiful." when i go back, i would like to be able to
speak the language and have a conversation with the people who shared their home with me.
is there anyplace in (or near) Portland, Oregon USA where i can learn the language? i have
some cassette tapes that profess to teach you Thai in 7 days, but . . . i need a real
person who can coach me and respond to my voice. can you help? :)

Hello I'm looking for informations about an adventure which happened around 15/2/99 at
3 belgian tourists, two women and a man. There were enclosed in a big store in Chiang Mai
and 2 australian tourists have helped them, by calling the police and keeping contact with
them. The belgian tourists wish to thank the australians and I think that perhaps you
could help them to fing their names. when they were finally liberate, many press

The Rock People, a Tribal group in Northern Thailand - and Myamar,China, atc. Recently
I saw something about these people called in English "Rock People." I am a
Social and Public Health Scientist and retired from WHO-South and East Asia. I have been
in Thailand many times since 1965. I know you have many tribal groups and beautiful
people. But I had never heard of the Rock People. I am interested in learning more about
these people, who seem to be a very poor and scattered people. In my retirement, I am
doing lots of research, including some of my family history in the American Cherokee and
Creek Tribes (so called American Indians - by Christopher Columbus in 1492AD. In fact, the
Native American people originally migrated from the same area of the world as I understand
the Thai people came from, that is around Mongolia. Except our Native American ancestors
came to North America about 15,000 years ago. Finally, where can I get more information on
the Rock People (English) or possibly "Palaung" ? Many Thanks and best wishes. I
